Video conferencing is battery intensive. Make sure your iPad is fully charged or you are able to plug in to a power source if it is not.
Prior to joining the class, it would be helpful if you turned your microphone off. This will eliminate background noises and make it easier to hear your instructor. When it comes time for Question & Answers, you instructor may have you turn your microphone back in order to speak or they may have to use the chat feature to ask a question and then respond using audibly.
If you experience choppy video from your instructor, try turning your camera off. You internet connection may not be adequate for two way video streaming. By turning your camera off you will leave more bandwidth for receiving the stream.
Also make sure that no one in your home is streaming video, music or playing online games like an XBox as those activities are also bandwidth intensive and will affect your streaming experience.
If you have headphone or a blue-tooth headset, it may be easier to hear your instructor by using them because they will eliminating background noises and distractions in your home.
