Step 1: Account Creation & Code Redemption
• To create your VitalSource account, go to bookshelf.vitalsource.com and click on Log In in the upper right corner of the page.
• Click Register for Account and fill in the information then hit Register. If you already have an account simply log into it.
• In the upper right corner of the screen select Redeem. Next Enter your access code as prompted and the book will be added to your account.

Step 2: Downloading the Bookshelf App
• To download the Bookshelf app and read your books offline go to support.vitalsource.com.
• Click the Download Bookshelf button.
• From the list of operating systems choose the one that matches your device and click Download.
• Follow the installation instructions and then click Finish.
• Open the VitalSource Bookshelf. If you are a PC user, look under the Start button, and then All Programs. For Mac users, locate the program in your Applications folder.
• If prompted, input the login information created in Step 1. Once you log in your book should start downloading automatically, if not, click Account and then Update Booklist.

Step 3: Additional information:
• Online resources:
Your VitalSource eBook may come with online resources to thePoint. Links may be located throughout the text. Your book might also have an Additional Resources area in the front of the book (before Chapter 1) where you can find a link to thePoint.
• Device Limits:
Your VitalSource Bookshelf can be installed on up to four devices: two regular desktop/laptop devices and two mobile devices. Once you have surpassed your limit, just call technical support at 1-800-468-1128. Our technical support staff can deactivate one of your devices for you. In addition you can always access your eBook online from anywhere as long as you have internet access.
