Organizing Applications

During your time at Swedish Institute, you may find that you’ve accumulated a good amount of applications on your iPad home screen. Luckily, there are ways to make your application interface much easier to navigate.

Deleting/Moving Applications

You won’t be able to delete any application you’d like to, but by tapping onto an application and holding, a small “X” should appear at the top left of every application. If you tap the X, it will ask if you’d like to delete the application.

If you’d prefer to just move an application, if you tap onto an application and hold, you can move apps by tapping and dragging them to another place on your home screen.

Creating Folders

To create a folder, you need to follow the same steps as moving an application, but instead of moving an application to another open spot on your home screen, you need to drag and hold it on another application for a few seconds. The applications will blink a few times and a folder will appear.

There will be a preset title for the folder which you can change to your choosing.
